How to apply

Follow these simple steps to apply for your place at Bedford College or Shuttleworth College...

1. Attend an Open Day or Taster Day

Speak to the tutors, tour the campus and apply online for your chosen programme on the day. Use our course search to view in-depth course information. View Open Day dates here.

2. Shortlist your favourite study programmes and apply online

We have just under 100 different full-time study programmes on offer.

3. Attend an interview

Once we have received your application, you will be able to book an interview slot, or have an interview booked for you via your Online Portal. You can find help and how to prepare for the interview on our Student Services website – Yourspace Online.

4. Attend your Welcome Day

You will need to attend a Welcome Day on Tuesday 30 June 2020 where you will get a taste of college life, meet your tutors and make new friends. Shortly after this, you will also receive notification of your enrolment slot via your Online Portal.

5. GCSE Advice Day

Didn’t get the GCSEs you wanted? Visit our Open Day on Thursday 20 August 2020 to discuss your options and apply.

6. Enrol on your study programme

Enrolment will take place between Friday 21 August and Friday 4 September 2020. You will receive notification of your specific date in July. At enrolment you will receive your timetable, ID badge and everything else you need so that you are fully prepared for the start of your study programme.

6. Start your study programme

Our term begins on Monday 14 September 2020.

You don't need to wait until your exam results.

Please note
We do not give priority to applications from pupils enrolled at particular schools.
