Creating Floral Arrangements

This course is designed for people who want to create beautiful designs with flowers. The course focuses on the use of materials, colours and textures to create interesting and intriguing floral designs. The course is designed to provide a fun introduction to basic floristry techniques.

Entry requirements

There are no formal qualifications required Learners should be 14 years or older.

Course content

The course will focus on the choice of materials, the use of colour and form and handling and care of flowers. Learners will be able to practise different techniques using a range of different media. Learning will focus on creating and experimenting with different designs.

Assessment methods

Informal assessment will be used to help learners develop their skills. There is no formal assessment on this course.
