Business & Administration Level 3

This study programme will prepare you for a career in business by developing practical skills in an exciting learning environment. You will develop a range of key skills and knowledge that will be essential for future employment or university study. You will develop practical skills in all areas of business, including business planning, project management and advanced IT skills.

Entry requirements


  • 4 GCSES at grades A*-C including English OR
  • A Business BTEC Level 2 Diploma and a GCSE in English at grade A*-C.

Course content

During the course you will gain the following qualifications:

  • Business Support City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma.
  • Plus: English, ICT and Maths qualifications if required.
  • Computerised Accounts or Paralegal Studies Certificate.

Further study and career options

You can progress on to further study with higher education qualifications including our Business HNC/D (see our Higher Education prospectus for more information). By topping up your HNC/D to a full degree at university you can also pursue an MBA qualification which can lead to a career in business administration or management.
