Brackenhall Community Trust Limited is a company limited by guarantee (company number: 05947709) and a registered Charity (Charity Number: 1123920) established in 2006. The Trust was established to manage the existing Brackenhall Community Centre which provides a wide and varied range of activities and events. In addition, the Trust is working on the development of a new build £2 million community centre that will be owned and managed by the Trust to be situated at the heart of the area to replace the existing community centre.

The Trust has already raised in excess of £2 million pounds needed to build the new centre, agreed terms to buy the new site, secured planning permission, agreed an affordable design, tendered the project and construction has now begun. The new building should be open in Spring 2012.

The existing Members and Trustees are keen to involve as wide a cross section of the community as possible in this exciting opportunity for the neighbourhood and community and would like you to consider becoming a Member.

Brackenhall Community Trust Limited is managed by The Board of Trustees (Directors) who are accountable to the Membership. The current members (who can be both individuals and organisations) include The United Reformed Church, user groups of the centre, Deighton and Brackenhall Initiative Limited (DBI) and individual members.

The Board of Trustees includes:
• 3 Community Representatives who are member inhabitants of the area of benefit
• 3 DBI Partnership Board Nominated Representatives
• 3 User Group Nominated Representatives
• 3 United Reformed Church Nominated Representatives
