Members

Brackenhall Community Trust Limited is managed by The Board of Trustees (Directors) who are accountable to the Membership. The current members (who can be both individuals and organisations) include The United Reformed Church, user groups of the centre, the Deighton and Brackenhall Initiative Limited (DBI Ltd) and individual members.

The Memorandum and Articles of Association (governing document) of the Trust state that the Trust will have at least 4 and not more than 12 individuals as Board Trustees all of whom must be Members who will represent 4 areas as follows:

• 3 Community Representatives who are member inhabitants of the area of benefit
• 3 DBI Partnership Board Nominated Representatives
• 3 User Group Nominated Representatives
• 3 United Reformed Church Nominated Representatives

In addition, the Trustees have the power to co-opt Advisors to assist in the running of the Trusts business until the next Annual General Meeting. The Trust has currently co-opted:

• Andi Briggs – DBI Ltd Chief Officer
• Martin Wilkins – Project Manager William Saunders
